Neuroblastoma

More than 100 clinical trials are currently accepting participants diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is a rare form of cancer predominantly affecting children, particularly those under the age of 5 years. It typically originates in the abdominal area. It is a cancer that begins in a specific type of nerve cell known as a neuroblast. Neuroblastoma can vary greatly in its behavior, from being very aggressive to spontaneously regressing. Its treatment often involves a combination of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and in some cases, stem cell transplant and immunotherapy.
